In ESPANIA we have created learning environment devoid of any geographical or cultural preconceptions or limitations. What does that mean? It means, that once you set foot in ESPANIA you could be on any continent on Earth and even beyond! Our pedagogical approach reflects this by using the most rewarding methodologies from around the world.

1. Multiple languages acquisition

By communicating in foreign languages with native speakers throughout the whole day, all our students are trilingual or quadrilingual after 2 years at our kindergarten.

Languages are acquired, not learned, which means every child understands and uses the languages actively in two months.

2. We love mathematics

For our students mathematics is fun. We do not teach mathematics in rigid form but rather we create daily interactions with mathematical concets as a key role of our elaborate mathematical curriculum.

To truly understand and master early mathematical concepts is the most important factor in later academic achievements for any student. That is why our playfull activities are hiding fun daily routines for understanding more and more dificult mathematics.

3. We adapt to our students and teachers

Every child requires different aproach and every teacher comes from diferent part of the world. We enhance the beauty of this international envirnment by supporting global learning in everylesson instead of uniformed conservative curricullum. Children are motivated to engage in choosing the content of the future lessons and teachers receive the freedom to make own choices about methods, depth and the timing when they introduce the topics to their students.

4. Our classrooms teach

The learning spaces in our kindergarten are designed thematically to fit the topics that students are meant to learn. Our classrooms are specialized for: Art, Science and Mathematics, Music and Robotics, Nature and Biology, Geography, Architecture and Construction and Social science, theatre and reading as well as large outdoor facility for sports education. Our students do not spend the whole day in only one isolated classroom, but enjoy changes of environment along with the content they are about to study.

5. Students learn firsthand

We use external learning spaces as often as possible, to create authentic learning experiences for our students. Trips that we take are aimed to give the glance of the unexpected, entry into the unknown and amusing, in order to build the memory of the child, to the depth of its greater possibility.

We experience together the elegance of the museums, galleries, exhibition halls and new magnificent spaces, that become a part of our future sense of the art, that would otherwise, be left unnoticed. We build the understanding of the detail in the child.

6. Sports are combined with education

A wide range of sports activities are integral part of our academic curriculum. Sport significantly increases the students‘ stamina, mental strength, concentration and willpower in addition to physical strength and fitness. We are introducing new body movements every year, with new variety of sports for each age group, including swimming, skating, gymnastics, team sports, ballet, or martial arts. The sports lessons are provided to our children by professional trainers.

7. Early musical training

Early musical training significantly develops the areas in the brain connected to language and reasoning. It fully enhances the students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. Learning music also leads to increased coordination, better memorization and strive for improvement. Students show increased skills in pattern recognition, spatial intelligence, creative thinking, better auditory skills and raised imagination and intellectual curiosity. Early musical training in Espania provided by specialized music teachers.
